I never met you but you raised a wonderful caring daughter, Diana.  May you rest in peace.

Rafaela changed my life.  I met her when I was 15 years old.  She was a single parent then, raising a daughter by herself, recently widowed, in a foreign country.  A small woman, she seemed like Superworman to me at the time.  She was determined to learn English and become a Therapist.  Both of which she accomplished.  I will forever miss you Rafa!

Rafaela was a wonderful neighbor to us many years ago when we lived in Downey.  I remember when she taught me how to make beans and just ran across her recipe last year.  It made me think about her.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time.
