Dear Rachie.  I miss my big sister.  It was not supposed to be like this.  I'm so sorry you were taken from us without warning, and that you didn't get a chance to say goodbye to your friends, family and Bruno and Avi. It is hard to make sense of, but clearly you were needed somewhere else for something greater.  Your precious kitties are taken care of. I will love you forever. Love, Shos

A tall and elegant soul I remember from a lifetime ago. Blessed are we to have shared in your journey, Rachel. So enjoyed the family times where I got to know you well. No word on how your life ended in this world. By disease or accident, perhaps loved ones will share on the tragedy that took you away from family and friends.  Ride the sky. We'll be looking for you. - Fondly, Chris

My dear sweet Rachie. My heart is broken like never before. So many things I wish could have been different. I will always be your "big sister" and I will forever miss my "little sister" Love Jinnie

To Rachel my cousin and friend    I remember you as always there. Hanging out together at Grandma and Papas, laughing until it hurts, polo shirts and makeup(your gorgeous big eyes), junk food, trying to tan our pale skin,  breaking curfews and having fun.  I remember your kind humble spirit, your sense of humor and your ability to laugh at yourself.  Miss you. Love you. Kate

Although I wasn’t able to be at Rachel’s memorial this afternoon, I was with her in heart and spirit, and I truly felt: she with me.  The beautiful ethereal music of Loreena McKennitt’s “Visit” evoked memories and  visions of Rachel - in all her beauty - dancing, singing, riding, laughing and running through the forests and beaches of her child and adulthood.  Fly high and free my dear one.
