This memorial website was created in the memory of our beloved Priya Jayachandra, 79, born on December 6th, 1941 and passed away on June 13th, 2021. We will remember her forever.
My vadina and brother are the reason we were able to come to this country and grow. She treated us kindly and helped us to establish. We are grateful to her

We will miss Priya Atha greatly. She was always a warm, loving, open-hearted person, happy to invite us over and cook amazing meals for us. I will always remember her as the person who brought others together in conversation and connection. Lots of love to the family.
Her kindness and joviality were contagious. Her memory will live on forever.

Cindy and I have been across the street neighbors of Priya and Jay for 17 years. Priya had a delightful sense of humor - Cindy and I would often laugh for days at some of the jokes she shared, always with a twinkle in her eye. She watched the neighborhood with a caring eye and a lot of kindness. We miss her and feel lucky to have had her as a friend and neighbor. With love, Greg and Cindy
Priya Atha was an extremely warm and welcoming person. She eagerly showed us love and affection. I particularly appreciated her love of music and the arts, I enjoyed her cooking, and her free spirit. She will be greatly missed.
