We met Zoe through the Rick Steves' Travel Forum and became fast friends when she visited Rome, where we lived at the time. We were privileged to have her house-and-cat-sit for us during Christmas break one year. How she loved Rome! I miss her insight and generosity of spirit. Zoe was my dear, dear friend and Godmother to my only daughter.  We loved her very much for so many reasons.  Her intelligence, her compassion and wisdom, her humor and  passion for her Italy.  Today, we honor her as today she would be celebrating her 68th birthday somewhere in Italy had God not called her to heaven this year.  I cherished your time on earth with us. xo - Irigoyen Family
