My deepest condolences to the Canova Family

Pauline was a lifelong friend.  Our friendship began in high school in Manila and then at the University of Santa Clara, where we shared an apartment for 2 years.  I will always remember a trip we took together around the Philippines on a summer break, chaperoned by a friend of her mother's.  She was witty and fun to be with.  I enjoyed so much our correspondence over the years.
