Dear Mom, I am missing you so much! It’s been a year today and I’m still as sad as the day it happened. Valerie reminded me to be thankful for the memories and indeed I am and always will be. The peace I do have is that you were welcomed by your loved ones on the other side and they comforted you during your transition. I love and miss you forever!
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Pat. I think of her often, hence me looking for her to find out she as passed. Pat was my co-worker from the County of Santa Cruz Public Works. She trained me for my first position in Central File Records Room. All I learn from her and have built my foundation on to make my, now celebrating my 25th year this August, career with the County of Santa Cruz. When she left the County and moved, she left me with her desk foot stool (one of her husbands had made for her) at to this day I still use it. Pat was such a great and caring person. I know she is truly missed by everyone her wonderful smile and spirit touched. I am deeply sorry for your loss.
