I am deeply saddened to learn about Ozzie's passing. I met Ozzie when he was working at Quantum and then again at Applied Biosystems. He was always warm, kind, and a very wise and astute human resources professional. I am grateful that I got to know him.

I send my deepest condolences to his family.

Rodriguez Family. I am saddened to hear about this. He was one of a handful of people I met during  my first days of HP. I started at Corporate and he was at Stanford Park Division.  He was a Staffing Manager and I was a Staffing Clerk. I was still attending school and my prior job was bagging groceries. I knew little. Ever  encouraging, I knew I had a resource to go to if I needed help.

To Evelyn and Rodriguez family.  Ozzie meant so much to me, had such a big impact professionally at Quantum and personally outside of work where he would always tell me "come over to share a plate of beans."  I am glad I did and always thought there would be another time. Heart broken there won't be.  Rest in peace my friend.  Love always. - James & Elvira

To the Rodriguez family, I am so sorry to hear of Ozzie's passing. I loved working with Ozzie at Quantum. He was such a special human being who had a positive impact on everyone he interacted with. He will be greatly missed. Keeping your family in my prayers.

Rodriguez Family. I am so very sad about Ozzie’s passing. I worked with him at Quantum and Applied Bio. He was a wonderful man - smart, funny, thoughtful, warm - alternating tender and strong. I called him Jedi Master because he was wise and philosophical. He will be remembered.

Rodriguez Family, I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Ozzie at Applied Biosystems and will never forget him. Sweet and wise and knowledgable and helpful ??

Dear Family, Ozzie was a very big influence in my professional development.  He was my manager for several years at HP (Stanford Park Division) but more so, a mentor and friend.  He would speak Spanish to me (slowly so I could understand) and always have sound advice.  Called me “fea” as a term of endearment! My sincere condolences.

I will miss "mi amigo," especially his wisdom, his humbleness, his humor.  He mentored me (and so many others) while at HP and Quantum, and his friendship and coaching were invaluable!  Truly, his was a life well-lived.  My prayers and condolences to all the family.

Dear Rodriguez family, my sincerest condolences.  I remember him fondly from Applied Bio and even years afterwards when I remembered to give him a call.  He was not only a friend, but a mentor to me in my "human development".  I had a lot to learn and he was always there to give me some advice and to give me the "look", whenever I knew what I had to do, but did want to do it.  Take care.

Dear friends and family,
Ozzie (Oz Man as our mutual friend Jane Creech used to call him) and I were good friends at Quantum.  He and I used to take long walks outside the campus talking over the current events at work and elsewhere. I hadn't spoken with him for years, but feel like we were always in touch.  He will be missed.

Please accept my deepest condolences.  Ozzie supported my team while at Applied Biosystems.  His sincerity, warmth, and humanity stays with me to this day.

Dear Rodriguez Family and Friends,
Ozzie made the world a warmer place. I am sorry for your loss.
I worked with Ozzie at Quantum where he brought wisdom, humor and compassion to me and everyone around him. I appreciated his effort with those hard "healthy" homemade cookies. I miss Ozzie. The cookies, not so much.

Rodriguez Family and Friends:
Ozzie gave me much guidance, humor and warmth when I was at Quantum.  I told him I was not a Spanish Rice fan, and he made me his.  I told him it was the best I had ever had, but I still was not a Spanish rice fan.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time.
Ozzie was my mentor when I first started my HR career at Applied Biosystems.  We called him "Father Ozzie" as he was always the calm and all-knowing one.  He taught me the ropes and everything I needed to know...and I owe my career to all of his patience and guidance. We shared a lot of stories and laughter together.  He will always have a special place in my heart and I will miss him dearly.

Our heartfelt condolences. Ozzie was an amazing and special person; his kindness and wisdom are an inspiration. I am blessed to have known him and count him as a mentor. Ozzie will live on in my heart and in many hearts; the heart remembers, and what is the memory of the heart but Love. What a blessing that he had you all as family. Dear Rodriquez family,
As Thanksgiving nears, I have been thinking of the people I am thankful passed through my life. Ozzie is certainly on that list!  I was his manager at one point at Quantum, but not really. His generosity of spirit managed so much.
Many wishes to you as you continue.
