I'm so sorry to hear of Shirley's passing! She was a wonderful, vivacious, loving friend and my aerobics instructor for several years.
She was so inspirational. I know she is now in her Heavenly home and lifting everyone's spirits! She will be greatly missed.

Dear Shirley...my heart is heavy. Our friendship started more than 20 years ago. You're one of a few I could truly call 'my friend'. Memorialized in time: more than ten years, sitting across from each other laughing or crying our way through our monthly radio show. I'll always remember you with love, Shirley T because, like you said 'YOU MATTER'
I was so sorry to read about Shirley's passing. Shirley dedicated her life to making a difference in other peoples lives and to bringing comfort and joy to all. Thank you for being my friend Shirley T. Burke, and may God bless your family all those you leave behind.

"Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted." Matthew 5:4
Although it’s difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may you find comfort in knowing that you are not alone. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We pray that God will continue to strengthen and keep you in this hour of bereavement.

I’m so sorry to hear of Shirley’s passing. I knew her from clubfit. She was an inspiring person. I will miss her
I am devastated to hear of my dear friend's passing and so sorry that I could not find the funeral arrangements in time. Shirley T. was an angel on earth. No doubt, she will be an inspiration in Heaven, as well. The last time we had dinner together, a stranger walked up and paid our bill. That's the kind of effect she had on people. We will struggle on without but never forget her.
