Millie was such a lovely person. Always I found her with a open Heart and tried to make you fit in whether it was at Pioneers or at Church. Love ya Millie
Aunt Millie and Uncle Bob took my family in when we moved to Alaska. They helped to ensure we got off to a successful start in 49th State. When I was in High School, I was accepted in the foreign exchange program, but money was tight. Later in life I learned that Millie was responsible for making that year a reality for me by loaning the necessary funds to my parents. Thank you so much.
We had so many wonderful family times at Rocky Lake and after church gatherings. Our memories of Millie, Bob, Charlie, Andy and Jim together with our family are too many to write, but so wonderful. I remember Millie laughing and enjoying life. Always looking on the bright side, she lit up the room with her smile and always caring and kind. Not that long ago she told me, "I am blessed".
To The Renkert Family...
Bob and Millie were one of the first friends we made when we moved to Anchorage in early 1958. We had many, many fun times together. Fond memories of our last visit with Millie in 2019..a trip to the Zoo, lunch and then dinner at Lucky Wishbone. A dear friend that we will miss. She loved her family! Don & Doris Silva
