This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Michelle Jones, 51, born on December 15th, 1968 and passed away on February 24th, 2020. We will remember her forever.
A memorial was planned for Michelle for March 20th. Our unprecedented national crises resulted in a cancelation.
This space is here to share those memories that would have been shared that day.
I met Michelle through La Fogata when I was about 14. She was so much more than a coworker to me. In many ways, Michelle was like a mother figure to the young wait staff, and someone to confide in. Her best quality? She cared. She cared so much about other people and their well-being, and she listened. I will miss her smile, her inappropriate and yet always appropriate jokes, and her hugs.
I met Michelle while employed at Miller Starr Regalia several years ago. She was always so kinds, quick moving through the halls. One fond memory that I have of her is: The Geese. On the 6th floor, she personally took care of these Geese. She made sure no one disturbed them, had a kiddy pool out on the 6th floor landing, she just cared. About people, everything. You Are Missed Girl.
Advice by Michelle 1. Always twist your piercings after you get them. They tell you not to at the shop, but she knew after years of getting her own the best practice 2. Never look at your phone before bed. The light will make it harder to sleep. Although small things, I live by them & so I keep a piece of Michelle and her wisdom with me everyday.
Hey Y'all! I miss Michelle and all the Soccer Girls! we had So much fun coaching all the girls throughout the years. Was it the last year that we had over 60 girls at practice? 10-12s, 12-14s, 14-16s, and the under 19??? That was so great. Michelle cared so much about all the girls and made Sure that We All had FUN! We kept soccer fun and not so competitive. She loved you all!
