michael wadsworth! i always shared w/michael that not many people get a second chance at life after death, how lucky i was that lightning struck twice when michael chose me to spend (what we now know) were the final years of his life. i will never feel worthy, but i will always feel blessed -- he was the very best part of my every day. with all my love - eileen
Fond memories of a great Marine Officer and Fighter Pilot at Marine Aircraft Group-11, Marine Corps Air Station El Toro, CA, in a bygone era. “Fair Winds and Following Seas”, Shipmate. .., “Black” Lucas, Col., USMC (Ret)
I look at your sweet picture and I immediately see Emily and Lauren in your determined eyes, I see Michael and Daniel in your knowing and confident smile. And, of course Ron beaming with joy next to you. While I never had the pleasure of meeting you, your wonderful family are loving lifelong friends and reflect a beautiful legacy of love, kindness, and integrity. With love, Krider family
My wife recently came across a letter written by Michael. In 1976 Michael Maher died in a training flight. Michael Wadsworth was his CO of the Black Knights. He was kind enough to pen a letter to my wife who was 3 years old at the time. It was well written and provided good insight into her father’s character. I am sorry for your loss but blessed to have been touched by his words.
