Bill was an excellent broker - and an even better friend.  Always had a kind or encouraging word.  We drove to Chattanooga to see the Spiders whip Montana in 2008 - one of the best road trips ever.  Gosh, I am going to miss Bill, his friendship, and his love of the Richmond Spiders.

So sorry to hear about Bill. He was a great friend and fraternity brother. One of the most positive individuals you wanted to meet. Always had a smile and made you feel special. Thoughts and prayers to the family.

Met Bill at UR on the baseball field. He loved to compete but most all he enjoyed being around fellow Spiders.  When and where ever I ran into Bill, he always had a big smile and something positive to say.  Bill, you will be missed.

Dear Ann, Craig & family,
I was so sorry to get this news, but grateful that Bill is no longer suffering. It was my privilege to know him as a classmate and Lambda Chi brother at UR. His unmistakable laugh and infectious smile will remain with me, as I trust it will with you. Please know that I will continue to remember you in my prayers.  Mark Ailsworth

I met Bill back at UR when my brother, Nelson Bunn, and Bill became fast friends and brothers of Lambda Chi.  No one was a stranger with Bill and I remember how comfortable he made everyone feel who met him.  Ann, my thoughts are with you and your children at this difficult time.  May God be with you and bring you peace.  Brenda Bunn Kollman

Bill and I met in the fall of 1971 when we pledged Lambda Chi at UR. We became fast friends and our love of baseball and other sports provided the foundation of a lasting relationship. His laugh and positive attitude infected all who knew him and he brightened just about everyone's day. I am happy he is at peace but will miss him greatly. Godspeed, my friend.

He was the best father and best friend I ever knew. I think about my father all the time. He had the greatest personality and always wanted everyone to have a great time. I never will forget the nicknames and how many people my dad made an impact on. I truly feel blessed to know my father he truly was someone I look up to. We all will miss you "Podge"!!
