Walter sat near us in church and I always looked forward to saying Hi to him. He encouraged us to join the Donut Committee ("FF" Food and Fellowship) and I KNOW he made a lasting impression on my 2 teenage boys. He truly was always a happy guy, sharing stories of his niece and loving life. He will truly be missed by his St. Mike's family.

I knew Walter from Richmond SHRM.  He was one of the friendliest people I have ever met.  He made me feel comfortable being a part of a great organization, even when I was tempted to be introverted and not participate.  I am saddened by the loss of Walter, but so grateful to have known this wonderful man.  Sending thoughts of peace to his friends and family.

I just received my fall edition of Villanova Magazine in the mail today.  I always read it from cover to cover but as I near the end I take a deep breath as I turn the page to the Memorial Section.  As I get older I regret seeing so many of my former classmates listed in this section. Months ago I traveled from Boston to Chicago to attend the services of classmate James Ray Jr. V.U 1974RIP
