May this fine man Rest in Peace.  When I came back from Vietnam and was stationed at Ft Ord, Major Hendricks took this young captain under his wing and taught him how to be a better officer and man.  He became my mentor and friend for over 50 years.  He will no doubt be greatly missed by all who knew him.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to his beloved Eva.
