Ted and I were married in 1970. And I have never been bored since! He was an exciting man with vast knowledge on many topics . His interests , his work in auto repair, his inventions and hobbies were always preceded by the gathering of information . He loved learning, experimenting and problem solving . Our family shared much love and good times . I will miss you my partner and friend .
I am so saddened to read of Ted's passing. For me he was a gentle, fun-loving character and always enjoyed his quick wit. Even though we have been away from Richmond for 3 years now, I think of you both and the business from time to time. He will definitely be missed - peace and blessings to you Betty and your family in your time of great loss.
I am very proud to say I had the privilege of working with this man for 20 plus years, Never have I known someone so detailed. Humble beginnings, and yet, when something grabbed his interest, he thought he could make it better. AND DID!!! In our early beginings he asked me how smart are you? And at the cocky age of 29 I told him.If I cant fix it it aint broke. To which he just looked at me
I remember the first time I met Ted, back in the 1990's he came highly recommended to us for auto repair. Over the years I came understand that Ted was truly a master mechanic and diagnostician. He was such a great guy, easy to talk to and honest to a fault. He will be sorely missed.
A more thoughtful and earnest person I have not met.
