The Susan I knew was a young mother like me, when she and her family lived in Indiana. Pat and my daughter are the same age and were little play buddies. We all lived in the same apartment building and became friends. She was a wonderful, bright, and funny person, and a good friend. I rediscovered her on FB.There's a new bright star in the sky.
We are heartbroken to hear of Sue's passing. We loved and admired her over the many years of knowing her as a fellow dealer from the Antique Colony. She always brought a wonderful spirit to the shop, we missed her dearly when she left to be closer to her son and his family. She spoke with such love and pride about her family especially her grandsons. A wonderful heart a wonderful women.
The world has lost a wonderful person. I loved my chats with Sue about vintage clothing, antiques, refinishing furniture, and her love for her family. She had a quiet way of making her point and yet showed strength in her convictions. In just a short time she gave me much insight. I will miss her smile and the twinkle in her eyes.
Sue and her horses were our neighbors at Bear Creek Stables. She took such incredible care of them especially when they suffered. When she moved away we missed our chats with news of her grandsons. Sue, you live on in our hearts. Eleanor and Richard and Amber, Tracy, Gracie and Mr McGee
The first time I met Susie was at my brother Jerry & sister-in-law Brenda's wedding. I will never forget her lovely suit and hat but most of all her beautiful smile :-) I always looked forward to seeing Susie at family functions when I was up San Jose. Keeping her family & friends in my thoughts, prayers and heart.
When Sue married my husband’s little brother, I came out on top in both categories, gaining a more than compatible family member a third little sister and a trusted, cherished friend. The New Orleans Andings and the California Andings lived about as far apart as it’s possible to in this country but each family made a home for the other - Bettye Anding
