What a great friend and confidant Sonya was to me for 43 years!  I've never known a sweeter person and she had a beautiful, kind heart. Her spirit was sweet with the love of God. Her faith was strong and steadfast. Sonya always had a listening ear and focused completely on what you said. She knew how to laugh and have fun and her advice was always solid.  I will never forget my friend.

Our world as we knew it will never be the same without Sonya in it. Always a positive outlook no matter the subject. She could laugh with you and at herself with a funny comment. Her family was her world and she always made room for her friends. Although we didn't see one another often, you knew you were always welcome. I will miss her comments and on Facebook. You knew she cared. RIP

Aunt Sonya was the most caring & loving person and above anything else, she loved her family and wanted them to all be together & happy. She was a ray of sunshine & always had a smile on her face. When I came to visit, we played cards or dimes. She was 1 of kind, & a perfect role model for a healthy marriage and I hope mine is just like hers.I love her. She's my angel watching over me now.

Very few people have loved me unconditional; as a human can, you my sweet dear friend loved me beyond. Your love and friendship has blessed my life tremendously. The way you loved your husband, family & friends is an inspiration. The only thing I can cling to is, I will see you again. Until then my heart hurts everyday. I love and miss you!! My deepest sympathy and prayer to your familyXO

Sonya was an angel who walked among us. I married Warren in 1975 and soon was invited to a get together. I knew Sonya even before that as she bowled on my Mothers league. My mom, Lola Larson loved Sonya as well and I'm sure they are catching up how to get the ten pin spare. Don and Sonya didn't miss a birthday party for my grandson's growing up. Sonya was so loving & kind. GBU always!
