I think of Sharon and Howie every time I take a bite of sweet corn. I will never forget the three summers I spent with the Liane's. I remember every Friday the canning company would give me a garbage bag full of corn and I would arrive back at their house and Sharon would be waiting to make the fresh corn. I really miss her and my mom!
My special memory of Sharon is her brunch crunch that she would make every year when they came down for winter. It was so yummy! I asked her several years ago for the recipe and she gave me what looks like her original recipe card . I came across it yesterday! Very special! I'm going to keep a copy and give original to Maryella.:)
Although I only met Sharon in passing, I thank her for what she imparted into her daughter, Dr. Maryella Loman, helping to make her the beautiful, kind, loving person and caring friend she is today. Sharon's legacy will live on in Maryella and in generations to come. Thank you Sharon for giving life to my the best friend ever!! xo
