Thank you for sharing these pictures.  They seem to capture a beautiful life, lived with surrounding love.  The smiles on Shanon's face throughout show the warmth that lived in her.  May the lasting memories of her spirit stay forever in our hearts.

We have known Shanon since the day she was born.  Our kids were the same age as Shanon and Shawn.  Shanon was always the happiest girl, as she grew, her happy, outgoing personality grew, as well as her generous giving spirit.  She gave comfort to our family when we lost our grandson.
Our family will miss her laughter and loving personality

So many fun childhood memories of Shanon.  Her laugh was contagious.  I remember running around the “big” house trying to ditch Shawn and hiding in her bedroom.  Love and prayers to the family and friends who will miss her terribly.

Shanon has been one of my very best friends for 47-1/2 years. We met in Health class when we were in 7th Grade. We had such great times going to concerts, sleepovers at her house when my parents went out of town, Lake Tahoe, Jackson. She was one of the core members of our group of best friends. We were roommates in late teens/early 20s. Shanon had such a kind & loving heart. I’ll miss her.

Shanon was the first baby I ever held, I was twelve years old. I watched her life unfold from there until her passing and I never once saw her without a smile, without laughter. If she told me about some hard moment in life she told it with humor. She spread that happiness to all those around her and that is how I will always remember her.

Shanon and I have  been friends since we were 13 years old. We’ve  had so many fun and funny, crazy, good times together.   Through all the good times and the bad ,she and I and our other close friends were there for each other,we had a sisterhood. I will miss her laugh, her kindness, thoughtfulness and easy-going personality, and how she always gave everyone the benefit of the doubt??

Before I began my first day of seventh grade, my Mom told me that I would meet my cousin “Shanon” for the first time and that we would be attending the same school together. I was so very excited to meet her! We had lunch in the cafeteria at Pleasant Hill Intermediate School 1974. What I didn’t know is that Shanon, my cousin, and I would share a sisterhood of friendship ever since then. She always had uplifting words of comfort if you were having a rough time. Shanon always had a cheerful countenance. She will always shine through and be that bright light.

Where do I start? My entire life was filled with memories growing up with Shanon, she wasn’t just a best friend, she was my older sister, my family. We were lucky growing up with such loving families and friends around us and having each other. We laughed and learned about life, grew older together knowing we would remain close forever. I will miss your sunshine and smile. See u in Heaven

There are people you meet in life who are always so happy to see or talk to you, love you unconditionally, and spoil you with their words and acts of love. This is who Shanon was on this planet. I feel so humbled and blessed to have become her cousin-through-marriage. I don’t think she ever met a stranger. Thank you for teaching me how to make jam & for filling our lives with your love.
