Sarah was my dear friend, role model, and mentor for 49 years. Her friendship, given generously, helped me grow in the light of her care and love. I treasure the times we spent together with Lane, Rachel and Leah, birthdays, Thanksgiving, Christmases. So grateful to have known her.

I knew Sarah and Lane through their generous participation in the Beyond War movement. What wonderful people! In terms of leaving the world a better place, they certainly did through their many actions at personal and global levels. Great teachers too - reminding us "present moment, only moment."
