To Fran, Mark, Scott, Kristina, Samantha and Erik,
We are so sad to lose Rudy. He meant the world to us and gave us over 50 years of true friendship. We had many wonderful vacations over the years and he and Fran were our best traveling buddies. We are grateful for all the fun times, laughs and just his company. we love you, Rudy. Rest in peace.
Rudy,
Was and will always be a gentle, kind and wise soul. I am truly grateful to be family with the Schutzers. I will miss Rudy’s smile, easy presence and his love for life and travel. Rudy is a great man and I am deeply sorry for his loss. I love you all.
I ate lunch with Rudy at L-3 (Litton) every day. I never learned so much as I did at lunchtime with Rudy and friends. Those memories will last with me forever. We will miss you, Rudy. May you rest in peace!
Rudy was the best. He was always there when I needed help. Rudy and Fran helped Pam and I celebrate our 15th anniversary in Maui in 2013, great memories. He will be missed.
I remember Rudy from all our trips to Bucks Lake for a men's retreat on memorial day weekend he was a great guy a better fisherman and will remain in my heart forever as a good friend. He had a great but subtle sense of humor and will be missed
From John Van Dyke and Don Rosenbaum:
With us working in Sales/Marketing, we had frequent interactions with Rudy because we relied on his group to get product out the door. Rudy’s professionalism and personal charm always got the job done. He was fun to be with and we enjoyed his company and friendship at morning coffee, parties and company dances. We will miss him.
Rudy was great and a dedicated Litton/L-3 employee. He always had a smile and a word of encouragement. Like Steve, I remember the discussions, the stories and the laughter at the lunch table. Rest in peace, we will miss you.
I started working at Litton in 1966. Rudy was my supervisor. He was a perfect gentleman and friend until I retired in 2014. I never heard anyone say anything but good things about him. Through the years, many of the young techs looked up to him as a father figure. The only time he ever got mad at us as a group was when we stayed too long at a Christmas luncheon and Stan Webber came by.
Rudy hired me at Litton right out of CSM in 1983. He was my first boss and probably the best boss I ever had. I learned a lot from him,and as Jeanne says, he was an influential father figure to our entire crew. We will keep him in our thoughts and prayers.
I've known Rudy almost 60 years, he was a great husband, father, grandfather. I have so many wonderful memories with him -- family dinners, get togethers, vacations, camping trips. Our first river trip was with Fran and Rudy from St. Petersburg to Moscow, got us started on river cruise vacationing. He was so much fun to be around. Rudy was not only a great brother-in-law, he was also a true friend. I couldn't ask for more. I love you Rudy and will miss you.
When I think of Rudy, I think of a real gentleman.. Always such a nice and easy going guy. We have had the pleasure of having in our family forever as long as I can remember. I remember going to Rudy and Fran's wedding and it was so beautiful. We are happy you had the chance to travel which you loved.RIP Rudy, you will be greatly missed. Bruce and Sally
I only now found that Rudy had past away, he was one of my best friends in high school and I cannot say enough about what a good person he was. Ronald Forsey 4/4/2020
