The loss of a wife, a mother, a sister, or a friend has a different effect on each person. Rose Marie was all these things and her love and extension of family goes far and wide.
This memorial website was created in the memory Rose Marie Hauck, 80, born on February 8th, 1938 and passed away with her husband by her side on September 6th, 2018. She is gone, but never be forgotten. She may not be present but her heart is in all of us. We will mourn for her now. We will remember her forever. We will celebrate her life until we are reunited again in our eternal home.
Oh mom, too soon, I was not prepared, but I knew when the call came in exactly what I was going to hear. I am happy you had no more suffering and the last thing I would have wanted was to see you in a bed in hospital room fading away. You left on your terms, and that is nothing less than what I would expect. I know you are with those who love you so much, just keep a spot ready us.
I was married to this absolutely wonderful woman for 56 years as of August 29th. I would not be worth a plug nickel were it not for the love and devotion she showered on me all the days of my life. She bore two wonderful children who have grown into fine representatives of her efforts. I have a large basket of wonderful memories erected on both coasts of this nation. Rest in peace my love.
When I think of your mother I smile. She had this sense of gentleness and a quiet sense of mischief, at least that is what I got from her whenever I was with her. She displayed sweetness, and warmth. She would laugh with me when I would share a story with her. She hugged me deeply and genuinely. Her smile and her beautiful eyes were welcoming. I am thankful I got to share time with her. <3
I remember when we first moved in across the street. Your sweet mom came over and gave our daughter some cute little pom pom creatures she made at church. I loved seeing her and your Dad come out of the garage and wave. I know they were and your Dad still will be the watcher of the street for us. I will miss her smile and gigantic wave terriblely. My thoughts are with all of you.
It is without any sense of joy that I am doing ok with the loss of the most wonderful person in my life. Nothing from this point forward will ever be the same, for half of my being is gone. Thanks to everyone who is reaching out in support.
I first met Mrs Hauck while visiting Jim “P” at his home in Antioch years ago. It was a quick meet and greet but I thought she was so sweet and anyone could tell she definitely loved her son. I had the pleasure of running into her again several more times. The most memorable was at a company event at a Giants game. I vividly remember her smile and genuine enjoyment at that game.
Mrs. Hauck would always be there to pick up her kids from St. Edward School in their Chevy Suburban along with the other kids in their car pool. Witnessed this for 7 years. Great she was always there for them.
My lasting memory of Mrs H, was sitting on Jim’s front porch last year watching the holiday lights after Thanksgiving dinner. Whilst everyone stood at the front of the house, the two of us sat together on the porch chatting away about all sorts of things. Family, religion, politics, travel etc. She was so immensely proud of all her family, super kind and an amazing sense of humour. Xxxx
Its been three weeks mom. Feels like yesterday. Feels like a lifetime. Coming here rips into my heart. Crossing the bridge on Willow Pass rips into my heart when I think that was where I first heard you were gone. I know you are there just not in sight. I love you and miss you.
Well mom, it has been over a month and quickly approaching two. So much is going on and so much is tearing me apart. These are the times I wish you were here. These are the times, even when you said nothing, I got that warmth and love that let me know I would be ok. I miss you terribly. I went to your niche and I talked to you. But it is not the same.
Mom,
I just couldn't write anything here before. Before today. I miss you mom. I knew you weren't going to be with me forever. Yet forever in my heart you stay, I believe you were there in the sky on that Freaky Friday and the cloud formations. Your magic lives on in me. Your belief in the unbelievable. Please keep an eye on your family.
It has been two years. The world has turned on it side. Everything is so confusing and hard. I miss your stability and strength. I have days I just cannot figure things out and I have no one to help me. You always reassured me that things would work out. I am having a hard time reassuring myself these days. The weight so heavy. I love you mom. I miss you.
