All my memories of knowing and working with Ron at MGH are such fond ones.  He was so supportive throughout my early years in research, and then continued to be as I stepped into his VP role, when he retired and moved on to CBRC at MGH.  His wisdom and advice were priceless in facing the complexity of the transition.  He was just such a humble and decent man, and good friend.
