This memorial website was created in the memory of Ron Buswell. We will remember him forever.
I am Dave Buswell, Ron's cousin from MI. Ron's Dad owned the Gateway Motel in Houghton MI; I would visit them during the summer, when we were about 14/15 we would take Uncle Nevins 16ft Thompson boat out on Portage Lake and watch the cruise ship the "South American" go through Portage Lake. We would ride alongside the ship and wave at the crew and passengers. Great fun, good memories.
