I have great regard for Robby.
He was a great human being, scientist, lawyer and friend.
My life was greatly affected for the better by having known him.
He and I shared an office space at Stanford when working on our PhDs.
Later, I collaborated w/ him at IBM for a number of years.
In the end, he was an inspiration to me in how he met his declining health w/ hope and humor, just as he was an inspiration to me throughout his professional, academic and personal life, bringing his hope, humor and excellence to every task he met.
