This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Robert Lewis, 88, born on December 28th, 1930 and passed away on September 4th, 2019 in Jacksonville, Oregon. We will love & remember him forever.
I first met Bob in Zihuatanajo , 1971, with my late husband, Jack Hamblett and Bob’s late partner, Louis Migliorini. They were saviors in 1976 when I lost my husband. Bob was Godfather to my daughter, Megan, born in 1975. He was an avid reader, opera buff and had a wide variety of interests. Above all, he was a kind, loving person and we are fortunate to have had him in our lives.
It's been two weeks since Bob died. This is a devastating loss but I have so many wonderful memories of time spent with my godfather & I hope those will never leave me. The sound of his beautiful voice, Christmas every year spent with Bob & Louis in Mexico, all the letters which I'm so happy I still have & all the things he taught me which shaped who I am today.
Today would have been Bob’s 89th Birthday and he should have lived to celebrate this day. I miss him and hope he is finally at peace.
Bob died one year ago and is missed every single day I will never forget him and will always cherish the wonderful memories that remain.
Bob is missed…every single day. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of him or reminisce on all the wonderful moments and memories we made. He taught me so many things and forever changed who I am.
Always remembered and loved. Cherishing the memories we made with Bob and grateful to have had so many years.
