To Rob, Jean, Bryon, Liz and the grandkids, my genuine and sincere condolences. Words cannot express how much Dr. Bracey & Mrs. Pauline meant to me. They were very special people.  He was truly a legend and leaves a legacy. For 43 years he treated me like his daughter with continued guidance and words of wisdom. I miss the phone calls and visits already. May God comfort & strengthen you.

A respectful salute and condolences to the entire family of Dr. Bracey . You can speak of role models but, Dr. Bracey was a powerful motivational force for good works and education growing up in my Black community. Dr.Bracey was always admired and respected as a "postive" influence and taught us in the 1960's that "Black Lives Do Matter". I can still  recite things learned in his classes.

He was a wonderful man, and a great principal. He begged me not to quit school, and I wish I had listened.  He truly cared for his students and we all knew it.  He will be greatly missed. My prayers are with you at this time.

My heart breaks because I did not get the opportunity to shave a final chat with you. You were one of the most inspiring men in my life. You taught me more than you will ever know. The days I spent with you and Ms Pauline I treasured always. I will miss you Doc see you on the other side
