This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Richard Urbaniak, 61, born on December 10th, 1957 and passed away on December 20th, 2018. We will remember him forever. Many people want to know when the celebration of life will be. Richard was not a winter person (it is 25 here today). I would like hais celebration to be held on the first day of Spring (actually the first Saturday afterwards: March 23, 2019) where people can enjoy his flowers and can mingle both inside and out. The internment at mountain view cemetery is this morning so he is with his parents and brother. The celebration will be a drop by from 1:00 to 5:00 at 3265 Primrose Lane, Walnut Creek, Ca 94598. If you need to reach me, please call 925-899-9309. Thank you Mat
Richard was one of my first friends in junior high when I moved to Walnut Creek, and we were roommates later in Oakland when he worked at Chapel of the Chimes. I remember how talented an actor he was in school productions. Always so outgoing and ebullient. Will miss his smile, his crazy laugh and his humor. He is reunited with Gary and his parents now. Thoughts and prayers.
Richard was one of my best friends in High School. Loved acting class, we cut up and freaked the drama teacher out. Sad I didn’t connect with him while he was living. Blessings
Richard was my closest friend during Highschool.
Sorry we lost touch,
REST IN PEACE.
Richard was my dearest friend and senior prom date in high school. Always smiling and a joy to be around. The world is a sadder place without him. Mat, I’m so sorry for your loss.
