Rey will always be known to me as Daddy Rey because that is what Raina called him, so that is what we called him. He was always kind, always had a smile for us, he included my daughter as family when she was over. He will be missed on this earthly plain.
I have been fortunate to work with Rey at Riverbed these past 5 years but even more fortunate to have him as a friend for 27. We met at Vitalink in '89 where I managed TAC and he managed the Product Specialists. We worked together at 3 companies over the years. He was well respected and had a great work ethic. He has helped and was loved by many. Rey, I will miss you.. Lew Chavez
Rey was a close and dear friend. We worked together at Ungermann-Bass and Vitalink. We talked in the past years but never enough.
Here's to you my friend.
I've known Rey since 2000, when he was my manager at Redback Networks, then again in 2012 at Riverbed. I always looked forward coming to work when Rey was around because he was always very supportive and good to share a laugh (actually, many laughs). Having also served in the USAF in the Philippines, Rey and I had many things in common. I will miss him.
Have a suggestion for us?
