So very sorry for your loss.  Paul and I have had several phone conversations over the last 7+ years.  

Paul was the long-time friend of Capt. Richard Connelly.  Rick told me many stories from their childhood.  After Capt. passed in 2018 I met with him to give him many of Capt. belongings, we also had lunch another time, and he then came to me with his grandson Shane whom I had watched grow from 2012-2018.  He grew into a fine young man, very polite and caring.  He was very very close to Paul.  

During those years he brought chinese food to join us for dinner.  He was the first to come when Rick had a heart attack.  They had spent a life together as firemen and Rick valued that beyond measure. Now they are together in eternal life. Most likely they are encouraging much laughter.
