Pierre was a man of grace, dignity and intelligence and infinite love for his wife and family.
When my partner Hugh and I were going to France one year, he took time to sit with me over a map, suggest places to visit on the way to the Normandy beaches and the best routes to get around.  I will always remember how that was so kind and generous of him.
