I have been coming to the Greater Lowell YMCA for over 4 years for Aqua Arthritis Class . One of the People who would be sharing the Pool was Phil. It was a joy to see him such a pleasant Man. I will miss seeing him tossing the foam hand weights over to the lane he was going in and then back it to the baskets when he was done. He will be sorely missed by our YMCA Family.

Gonna miss you, Phil.  Almost every morning at the arthritis class I would see you. Enjoyed our conversations. A good man gone too soon

I too, knew Philip from the Y pool.  Such a sweet and happy man.  He was also an inspiration; he worked so hard to stay strong.  A gentleman...rest in peace Phillip.  You are already missed.

So sorry for your loss. We have wonderful memories being with Phil! I was in the Army at Redstone Arsenal Air Force base for training together, then our unit was sent to Germany with the 575th. We were there for a year and had a lot of great times, going to the theater on base for a movie, out to the German quest houses for drinks and dinner, and had Thanksgiving together. A great friend!
