Morgan Beauzay Hammer, et al. was my first job as a legal secretary in San Jose. I remember Phil as being a kind, gentle and fair man. Although I did not personally work for him as his secretary, I do remember him as being a wonderful man. RIP Phil And God bless you!

Come to Phil’s place on Sunday, you were likely to hear these words.  “Phil,That’s not a word”, followed by Phil, “No, I think it is”.  What a wordsmith, attorney, activist, storyteller, husband, father, grandfather and friend. Phil took a bite out of life. If you were lucky to be a part of it, you enjoyed coming along for the ride.

Phil is forever in our hearts.
