Bill was a mentor to me along with Tom Skillicorn and Bill Marinovich when I practiced for their firm as a young attorney in the 1990's. Bill never mentioned it but I knew he was wounded in the battle of Iwo Jima as an 18 year old U.S. Marine. I was honored to learn the practice of law from Bill and to be his friend.
