I love you and miss you Mom - everyday!
Grandma Pat was a bolt of creative, headstrong energy, and her passing has left a big hole in my heart. I know so much disintegrated right in front of us, courtesy the cruelty of dementia, but the Grandma Pat I know is a brilliant woman; a singer, a musician, a band leader, a teacher, a seamstress, but most of all, a spectacular mother, wife and grandmother. Rest in peace, GrandmaPat.
My grandma was an amazing and very talented person. She was an awesome grandma and always had a great sense of humor. My favorite memory of her was when I last saw her; she wouldn't let go of my stuffed animal and claimed she made it herself. It was very funny. I will miss you, Grandma!!
Tammie & I have known Pat & Mac mainly as "co-grandparents" of Nadine. We grew to love and respect Pat each time we were able to meet again. She was a lovely person, and a wonderful loving, caring grandma. We miss her sharp humor and loving kindness.

"Mrs. McCaughey" (as I always called her) was a neighbor and mother of one of my best friends, Christy. She was always so cheerful and fun to be around. I was in awe many times when she sang in stage productions or at Federated Church on Sundays. She had a huge personality and many talents. She is a bright shining star in my life memories! A life well-lived!
I would have loved to have known Mrs. McCaughey personally, but though I only met her a few times long ago,I've had the pleasure of knowing her through my dear friend, Christy, whose sweet & generous heart & deep love of music & theater were so clearly nurtured by her mom.I thank her for the wonderful family she raised & celebrate her joie de vivre. As Cindi said: "A life well-lived."Bravo!
I idolized my Aunt Pat. She and Uncle Mac were my favorites. I remember how proud I was when she came home from college once
and sang a solo at church. She was so much like my Grandmother
Lewis--so talented and giving. You left us all with beautiful memories.
Happy Birthday my beautiful mother! I am a bit late, but was thinking about you on November 20th, your 88th celebration of your birth. I sang Edelweiss for you in celebration!! Much Love, Christy
