Michael Bliss was a colleague, an itinerant teacher teaching at many schools in many districts. I found Michael to be strong and gentle; energetic, yet able to quiet himself; a problem-solver; and one who strongly encouraged his students to be all they could be.  Know that your dear Michael was a good a courageous man of vision and aliveness.  And Michael loved his son dearly & powerfully.

When I first moved from little Rock, Ark.to Los Angeles  Ca.,  I was blessed to live with Michael ,  in Hollywood,  Ca. even though he had just gotten married .
