Our twins were Mike's patients. We greatly respected him.  He will be remembered in our family as a thoughtful man. He was generous with his kindness and empathy and also literally generous--one had merely to express an interest in a topic and he would pull just the right book from his personal library to lend. Mike had a life well-lived and we are honored to have known him.
