Daryl and his family will always be special to me and my family. Over @50 years, I have so many happy memories of all. I remember so many happy times with him. I'll never forget the time that he proved to me that I really could not tel the difference between diet pepsi and diet coke - which I "knew" that I could. He took the time to cover each bottle and serve each to me. I then assure
I assured Daryl that the diet coke was clearly "the best" and that I "knew" that this was diet pepsi. Daryl gleefully told me that I had guess 100% wrong!
I remember going to Costco with Daryl (my husband's best friend) and my husband. Daryl took delight in helping me choose my eyeglasses - themost expensive in the stor
I was happy; but he was thrilled at "puttingit to his friend - at Costco"
We had many wonderful trips together (Michael, Darryl and me) to the Bahamas, Hawaii (twice); the Lenstrom's home in Tahoe.
Michael and I were thrilled to have the Lenstroms as neighbors and enjoyed various Christmases together. I will always be indebted to both Daryl and Joyce for how wonderful they were to both me and Michael. We had a wonderful time in Hawaii (Michael's last month) and I will always be grateful to both.
Michael died in 1996. Darryl and Joyce have remained true friends whom I will always be grateful for and enjoy. When I think of either - I smile. We have had many, many, many happy memories.
