I will miss you Maybell. Especially the times we laughed together. I'll remember your favorite sweets & how you'd hide them under the sheets cause we thought we'd get in trouble. I'll remember how you took care of Tom-even though he had no life in him! I'll remember how we'd look out the window & discuss the birds & you'd always would tell me where their nests were. And "legs". miss you

You are so missed.  You will always be my Momma.  Wish we could have had one more day together so I could tell you how much I appreciate all you did for me my entire life.  I know you did without many times so I could have what I needed.  Love you forever and beyond.

My mom died years ago and on Mother’s Day 2013 I asked Maybell if she’d step in for the role so i could dote on her a bit and she was more than glad to do so.  She could be a crotchety old gal now and then but I’d just smile and tease her a bit, dote on her some and flirt with her until she’d smile and give me that “aw shucks look” and become civil again. I’ll miss her.
