I loved you Mary,  You were kind and warm and funny and your home was a very special and inviting place for me whenever I came to visit my sister Nancy Anastopoulos and her wonderful family.

You were a dear friend to mom and our whole family. I fondly remember so often sitting at your kitchen table as a young child (and enjoying your homemade greek cookies) while you and my mom discussed the current political campaign you both were working on or just chatting about us kids or planning the next family gathering. I will always remember you with a smile on my face, Mrs. A!

Mary, You were always a loving, generous friend and neighbor. You were truly dedicated to making your city and your country a better place. Your family came first in your heart, but you reached out to everyone. Your dedication to the principles of the Democratic party--justice, sharing, loving your neighbor, education for all, --was well known. I shall miss you. My sympathy to your family.
