I will always remember Uncle Mark with a quiet smile on his face, in a hooded sweatshirt and shorts no matter the weather. I will remember the love he had for his girls and his dedication to his football teams. I will remember his laugh and his beautiful bonsai trees. I will remember his kindness and how he lead by example. Uncle Mark, we will love and miss you forever. Love, KT.
I will always remember Mark as this man who could yell and scream at his players one minute, then be right by their side encouraging them. He was a man who loved his family extremely and I could see it every time he looked at his wife, even if he was rolling his eyes at her. I feel blessed to have known him and will greatly miss him. A very special man!!!
i will always remember he would bring Starbucks for his wife and we would catch up on the office and I will surely miss his smart ass comments but other than that he was a very special man and very caring and I feel so blessed to have known him the last six years even though it feels longer that I've known him. I will surely miss you mark but you are no longer suffering! RIP
Everyday during football season i loved coaching with Mark. He made it fun for me and made it easy to coach. i will remember and miss the car rides he gave me to coaches meetings and feeling thankful to know a man like him after the day is done. We talked about so much and i love every minute of it. i just wish i had more time with Mark Stahowski.
Mark and I coached over 21 years ago in the San Leandro Bobby Sox organization. He had a robust laugh, and had an infectious smile. I will always remember him asking me to take care, the skinned knees, and the daisy pickers out in the outfield. When my kids attended SL High, it was exciting to see him coaching the football team. He will definitely be missed. God Bless his family.
Mark, you touched so many lives with all of your coaching years. The boys that played under your guidance were so very lucky. I am sorry my grandson, who is playing 9th grade football this year, did not have the pleasure of working with you. May you rest in peace and look over your family from above.
I meet you a few times and always very kind and welcoming and I know was a cancer survivor and have admired your strength in this difficult Thank you so much for your years of teaching our youth and guiding them and being such a great support for them you were very well know and loved may you Rest In Peace . I knew Mark when he taught PE at Markham. He taught wonderful and exciting activities that kept the students moving the entire time. I enjoyed conversations with him often. Please know the students loved being in his class and couldn't wait for PE. Thank you for teaching our students.
I was so sorry to hear of the passing of the wonderful Mr. S. All three of my children, now grown, attended Fairview Elementary School, and loved playing PE with Mr. S. His activities were always fun for the kids and they adored him. He had all the qualities that we value in educators and he will be remembered fondly by our family. Our condolences to the Stahowski family.
