Marian Silva was my grandmother, and an angel on earth for 93 years.   She lived her life on her own terms, and provided unconditional love to family and friends in need.  She was fierce, bossy, silly, and loving.  The perfect balance of tough love and compassion.   Marian Silva was an original.  She was an impressive woman, mother, grandmother, neighbor, and friend.  She will be missed :)

Dear grandma marian,  you were a big impact on my life. When troy and i  ever stopped by to see you, you always treated me like a grandson. Always made us something to eat or even just be there to talk. There is alot more special moments I remember.  You will always be in my heart and be my grandma. GOD bless you. Until we meet again in paradise. Love you

I will never forget you grandma.  I will always cherish the moments we had with you. I managed to darken your doorway for over 35 years. I will always remember... You making breakfast for Troy and I, You yelling at Troy, You yelling at me(Lol), You telling me about your bad knees, You telling us you can't afford food, so get out of the kitchen!(Lol).  I will always be your "Pest" grandma.

What a sincere pleasure it was to know you Marian. Even though I came to know you in the later years of your life, I knew immediately that you were the source of the deep love and strength of this amazing family. What a powerful role model you were as the matriarch of your "tribe", your love and example lives on through all of us who shared moments on your journey, we will miss you dearly.
