Margret Johnson Magill was born May 30, 1947, and died July 19, aged 71. Sena, Ollie and I already miss her more than we can say, although her spirit graces us always... and not only in the form of her mischievous familiar, the cat Sukie May. We hope you will be able to join us for a memorial service at St. Mary Whitechapel at corner of Routes 201 and 354 just south of Lively, and we hope you can join us for a celebration of her life and friends at Bewdley directly thereafter.

It is too difficult to put into writing that Aunt Margret "was" because she had such a beautiful impact on my life that has and will always resonate with me. She brought such magical beauty and wonder to everything I did with her. My life was made better by knowing her.

I only met your mom a few times when we were all kids growing up on Bewdley.  If she was anything like her mom, I'm sure she was a character.  She raised some great kids and you should be proud of the woman she was.  Peace to you and the family.

I moved from the Northern Neck and lost touch with Margaret but thought of her often. She was a special friend. She had a contagious laugh, a wonderful cook and gardener, and a flair for style and design. What I remember most are our long conversations and her unique sense of humor. Peace and Love to family and friends and she is surely resting in peace.

To the family of Margret, my sincere sympathies on the loss of an extraordinary woman.  We worked together framing pictures for Ben Franklin in Richmond for a few years.  She had the best sense of humor and was a joy to be around.  I have thought of her often since she moved back home.  I remember she loved her kids.  May she rest in peace.
