I was privileged to get to know Marc some through his volunteer efforts for climate justice with 350 Mass. In my experience, Marc was kind, thoughtful knowledgeable and patiently willing to share his knowledge and insights with new comers in way that made people feel included and welcomed. I regret not getting to work with Marc more. My deepest condolences to his family. -Alan Palm
I am heartbroken to learn of Marc's passing at such a young and vibrant age. Marc played such a critical role in our work with 350 Mass. He was absolutely critical in establishing the Lowell node, a key player in our statewide legislative work, and brought so much creativity and joy to our work. He was always so kind and warm, meeting every challenge with a smile. He will be dearly missed.
I worked with Marc for years as part of his volunteer efforts with 350 Mass & remember his incredible thoughtfulness, kindness and dedication so clearly. His commitment and compassion shone through whether it was during a humdrum meeting or a huge march. He was a leader in every sense of the word - the world was a better place because of him & he will be deeply missed.
I am so, so sad to learn of Marc's death as he had so much to give to the world. I came to know him through our climate activism in 350 Mass. No matter the task, he always brought a ready smile, a thoughtful, gentle demeanor, an esprit de corps and an unshakable desire to make a difference. We'll carry him w us as we strive for a sustainable future. He'll be sorely missed.
I was really so sad to hear of Marc's passing. What a wonderful, kind person, so committed to the mission of fighting climate change. I only knew Marc briefly, as I began to work with 350 Mass, but I felt his heart in all his interactions as we all tried to move forward on an urgent mission together. I did not know that Marc was battling for his life for so long. Death Be Not Proud.
