Dear Anne, I will remember your voice always. What a delightful sound! and too, your gracious manner, your smile! Such a dear woman. Marie Arnold
omg! When the screen came up it literally took my breath away. All the fun things I remember with Anne came rushing in, even though she lived 1500 miles away we talked on the teley many times, came to refer to her as Dr Eck as she helped me many times. I believe I took this photo of Anne with Kevin F. Wonderful memories.Very sweet/wonderful person. Will never forget her voice, loved it.
Please accept my sympathy for the loss of such a wonderful wife, mother and friend. I remember Anne as a quiet, gentle and strong woman. Whenever she approached the lectern, my heart smiled because I knew the reading would be delivered with expertise and soul.
I will look.forward to meeting with her in the next life.
Loved my Aunt, always looked forward to seeing her....listening to her soft/english voice. Always so wise in the things she said. My fondest memories are the trip my sister & I took to Omaha to stay with the family. Wish they all lived closer! I love you Aunt Anne! May you rest in peace.
Anne was a gentle, peaceful, quiet woman who was always happy to see friends. I will never forget hearing her read as a lector at church. She read
so beautifully, in her lovely voice, that everyone became silent to hear the message. She will be missed.
I always loved the way Anne read at the lecturn. She said she was nervous, but it never showed. She was such a lady. I loved to tease her just to see her blush. Gone too soon, she will be missed by many.
I have many favorite memories of spending time in Omaha swimming and in South Dakota! One of my adult memories is at Grandma and Grandpa Eck's 50th wedding anniversary, my husband and I didn't drink a lot and we had ten too many! She helped us back to the Eck house and we kept telling her we were sorry and she acted like it was no big deal! Loved her voice & her kids!
Anne was such a warm welcoming person. I was at Santa Teresa for 23 years and been gone for 12 but Anne is someone I remember with warm memories. She left a mark on the world and touched many lives
Kevin take care and my heart goes out to you and the family

I had the great pleasure of working with Anne at Rosegarden Library. As we closed up every evening, she would announce, "All secure!" She had such a gentle but firm way with the lost souls who sometimes caused trouble in the library. She would put up with no foolishness, but always spoke in a loving and motherly manner.
Kevin and family - please accept our deepest sympathy at the passing of your beloved wife and mother, Anne. She rests now in the bosom of Jesus, whom she loved and who loved her as He loves all of you.
Kevin - So sorry to hear about Anne's passing. I pray that God may bring her to himself and that he may give you and your family, peace and strength for this difficult time.
Kevin - My deepest sympathies to you and your family. May the memories you have of her help to sustain you during this difficult time.
Kevin -This is the third or fourth time I have attempted to write here but the tears just keep coming. Anne was my much loved friend of seventy years. Memories fill my mind, particularly of our friendship in the early days and of the lovely two weeks we spent with you and your lovely family. God bless you all You are in our prayers.
Thank you Anne for the wonderful phone calls and inviting me into your home this year. I am so happy we got together, and so sad we won't do it again in this life. You were an amazing woman, and I will miss you. Your cousin, Mary
