                                            LARRY DEAN TROTT
                                       May 7, 1957 – May 3, 2016

On May 3, family members bid farewell to Larry as he boarded the train to take him home.  Larry was born and raised in Oakland preceded in death by his parents Larry and Jo and grandmothers, Nin and Gram.

He graduated from Skyline and Far West in 1975. He was a Glazier by trade - employed, retired, and employed again with AGA and a proud member of Local 169 for over 35 years.

An accomplished musician, playing guitar since junior high, he played with various bay area bands, including Ron Hacker and the Hacksaws, Bombay Crawlers, Diesel Harmonics, and ShotGunn Haze.

His greatest accomplishment is his daughter, Cassidy.  He exceled as a father, sharing her happiness, sadness, madness, her everything, and was always there for her. Though he is no longer on earth, their bond is alive and will not be broken. His love will surround her and help ease the tremendous sadness she is suffering.

Not able to accompany Larry on his journey is Cassidy Trott (Blake), Lori KovenChambers (Peter), Carol Giangrasso, Bob Koven (Myra), Linda Schneiderbeck , band members, friends from work and throughout the years.

Holding a special place in his heart are the baby girls that grew up - Angela Ratti, Natalie Contaxis, and Sara Goodenow. In addition, “Thank God for Queenie” Diane Maldanado, who helped us when we could not help ourselves.

                                  Okay Nicky, he’s all yours!
