Kathie was such a kind and generous person. We had known one another since roughly 1988. We had many adventures together, and lived together in Pleasanton CA. For a few years. I moved to Seattle in the late 1990's, but we drifted apart. She moved to Portland a few years ago, but we just never managed to get together. I am so sad to hear of her passing. but I will remember her smiling.

Kathie --  You are so beautiful inside and out.  I miss seeing your warm, welcoming smile.  Your commitment to your work was so solid, and you cared so much for doing the best job possible.  And the care and love for Ava were were touching.  Thanks for all the dog advice, the laughs and warm friendship you extended.  I'll miss you.

Kathie.. My dearest friend and long time significant other, I will miss you more than you will ever know. I'll miss our adventures together not only here in Arizona but when we would hook up while working all over the U.S. and Canada... Such fun we had!
