When I moved to Morgan Hill 8 years ago she was my very first friend, welcoming me to the neighborhood and into her heart. She was simply amazing and she will live in MY HEART forever.

I was so touched at Karlene's loving and gentle soul. She was an amazing wife, mother, friend, and neighbor.  May she dance with the angels.

I was Blessed life gave me Karlene as my cousin. Being an only child myself, Karlene filled the shoes of a sister in my life. I'm honored to be related to such a Loving and Caring Soul. Karlene Touched the lives of everyone she met. This is what earned her her "Angel" status. Let us learn from Karlenes Love for Life and Others! I Will forever hold you close to my heart cousin. I Love You!

Karlene came into my life when she and Honey Bear opened their hearts and home to Marissa and her sisters. Karlene did everything with love and caring, her family, home and business. She was unique and I will never forget her. She made me a better person. Love you Karlene. Keep your eye on me.

Cancer sucks but sometimes offers a strange gift. No words are left unsaid and the people in your life that are important to you know it when you leave. I was fortunate enough to spend time with Karlene before she left and proud to call her Family. Love you Cous.

Karlene was one of the first people I met when I transferred to a new high school in the middle of my sophomore year. She made me feel welcome and I appreciated her smile and laugh. She never lost that incredible zest for life and ability to see the good, even when things got tough. I know Karlene is still watching over us all & our paths will meet again someday.

Karlene, you'll be missed by me and so many people. The love you poured into everything you did will be felt for a long time. You were a force to be reckoned with and a kind, sweet soul who didn't know how to do anything but give to others. I'm grateful to have met you, my friend, to have known you and to have spent precious time with you. You'll remain forever tractor tough. I love you.

Karlene, you will always hold a special place in my heart. I will forever be grateful for the few years of friendship we shared. Your love for your family shined in all you did and I am a better mom for having known you. I know you are at peace and will go on in the love you so freely gave others.

Karlene, you are an inspiration to anyone who knew you.  Even when you were struggling with your own health, you were conducting bake sales for others in need!  You were a role model to your daughters even though your time with them was short.  I will remember all the good times and know you will be missed dearly.  Love, Paula

I miss you so much mom. Adjusting to life without you has been so hard. It's been 3 months and it still feels like yesterday. Marissa and I try our best every day to stay strong. A piece of our heart was taken from us but we will stick together for our familia. I love you

My husband and I had the good fortune of meeting Karlene in 2012 at an open house, we were drawn to her right from the start....she just got us, and we are not easy to please but there was something special about Karlene. She worked with us and never gave up, she's a beautiful person inside and out and will never be forgotten, we are so saddened by this news.
