How hard it is to lose such a gentle, compassionate and lovely soul.  I will always have happy memories of working with Kari at the OC in Richmond.  It appeared to me, Kari, that you excelled at motherhood, your children were not just your kids, but your good friends.

My heart goes out to Lauren, Jonathan, Michael, and Connor in this difficult time. I felt like part of yalls family for several years and appreciated both of your parents very much. I hope that you all can hold on to the good times and work through the tough ones together- you are all strong and unique in different ways. To your children, I am deeply sorry- hold them tightly.

It was heartbreaking to hear about Kari's departure. I have such fond memories of her. It is devastating to know that she was unhappy.  I hope it will be a comfort to her children to know that she is in a better place, free from suffering.  Kari- you are loved!  You were always loved.  You are now free from pain and for that I am so grateful!  

So sorry to hear of Kari's passing.  I remember her as a beautiful person. Hope she is at peace.
