I hadn’t spoken with Karen for a few years and was shocked to learn she was gone. She was smart, funny and beautiful. We moved away and she continued a great career in Boston. We had many good times in the 80’s, attended each other’s weddings and both enjoyed fashion. She left way too early.

I am heartbroken to learn of Karen’s death. We had lost touch as we got older but I will never forget the years of wonderful friendship we shared. We met at camp in Maine in 1964, spent time together in California when we were both first married, and later in Boston. I always thought we would have more time together…Karen was beautiful, brilliant and funny. I’ll never forget her.
